Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sr. Business Development Manager to lead our B2B and B2G pipeline, drive stakeholder engagement, conduct competitive analysis, and leverage market research to identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in developing and executing strategic business plans, managing key client relationships, and working closely with cross-functional teams to meet commercial goals. A keen understanding of financial modeling is also essential to ensure data-driven decisions and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • B2B/B2G Sales Leadership: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies targeting both B2B and B2G markets to achieve commercial traction and revenue goals.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders in both the private and public sectors, ensuring satisfaction and driving ongoing partnership opportunities. Proactively identify new avenues for business growth and value creation.
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform detailed competitive analyses to uncover market trends, assess competitor strengths and weaknesses, and enhance the company’s market positioning.
  • Market Research: Lead in-depth market research initiatives to spot emerging trends, understand customer needs, and identify new growth opportunities. Use insights to drive strategic decisions and refine business plans.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Source and develop strategic partnerships with complementary organizations to broaden market reach, diversify offerings, and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver regular, data-driven reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to the executive team, ensuring informed decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at key industry conferences and events to build networks, stay informed on industry developments, and promote business opportunities.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Drive negotiations for critical agreements such as Letters of Intent (LOIs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and purchase contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or a related field (MBA preferred). Technical background is a major positive (e.g. engineering, science)
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B/B2G sales, or related roles, with a proven track record of building systems.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and developing predictive financial models.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful business strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
